Expansion In Malawi

OILCOM (T) Limited has a sister company - PETRODA (MW) Limited, located in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi. PETRODA is credited for having constructed fuel storage depots, both in Lilongwe as well as Blantyre city. The company also handles around 30 retail filling stations in the country. Besides oil business, PETRODA has also shown a flair for dealing in real estate in Malawi. The company has invested in a number of modern commercial buildings in some major cities around the country. Besides taking international trade to a whole new level, the OILCOM and PETRODA undertakings in both the countries have also promoted cordial relations between the people of Tanzania and Malawi.

Venturing in Zambia

After Malawi, PETRODA’s next business venture was initiated in the neighboring country of Zambia in 2005. The company started its operations in Zambia, under the registered name - PETRODA Zambia Limited. The company, PETRODA Zambia Limited, has already commenced the construction of several retail outlets and depots. Just as in Tanzania, the company plans to operate in-house transport so as to maintain quick and smooth reach to the customers. The company has ambition plans in Zambia and is set to test the waters in the real estate sector in Zambia.

Presence In Kenya

It has been close to 9 years since OILCOM (K) Limited started its operation in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. Here, the company runs a storage depot along with several retail outlets in the other parts of the country. The company is doing very well in the trade of LPG storing, filling and distributing in Nairobi. Here it also owns a haulage division to supply oil to Eldoret, Kisumu, Nairobi, etc.

Ongoing Expansion in Uganda

OILCOM is exploring its options in Uganda as well and, very successfully too. The company has set up filling stations throughout the country and plans to double the number of stations in the upcoming years.
